Off-plan pricing
If you are in the process of extending your home and would like us to prepare a quotation for the bi-folding doors included in the design, just e-mail us the architect’s plans and we can work from those. We can also prepare a quotation for the windows, entrance doors, roof lanterns and Sarnafil flat roofing at the same time, if you wish.
Guarantee – builder or Cambridge Bi-folding Doors?
If during your build you select Cambridge Bi-folding Doors to supply and install your bi-folding doors, our 20-year bi-folding door guarantee can be arranged directly with you. Cambridge Bi-folding Doors will be your direct contact, in the unlikely event that anything goes wrong, rather than going through your builder or one of their sub-contractors. The guarantee can also be arranged with the builder, of course, so it's entirely up to you.
Home survey
When you have received your quotation and decided to go ahead, our surveyor will visit your home to confirm the dimensions and bi-folding door specification. At this time, they will also confirm any building work that is required and prepare a specification for our building teams.
As part of the survey, they will also assess parking and access so that there are no surprises for our fitting teams.
Survey - technical information
We understand that every project is different and that there will be occasions when an extra level of information is required. Our surveyors can provide all of the technical information and support your architect or builder is likely to need, but if you do exhaust our knowledge – which hasn't happened yet – the technical team at Origin are always on hand!
Installation
The success of Cambridge Bi-folding Doors is largely down to the doors we sell and the care we take installing them. By deliberately confining our installation area to within 50 miles of Cambridge, we are able to use our own factory-trained installation teams in our own signwritten vans.
Our experienced fitting teams have all been trained by Origin, our bi-folding door manufacturer. Installation is straightforward and is normally completed on the day. If there is anything that is likely to increase installation time, our surveyor will make you aware of it during their visit.
And, if you're worried about the mess – don't be. The old doors will be removed from your property and a full tidy-up and final polish of the new doors will be carried out before our fitters leave!
CONSTRUCTION
Cambridge Bi-folding Doors offer a complete design and build service to customers. Openings can be widened, or created, rooms can be adapted or extended. All construction work is carried out by our own experienced team, and all work is covered by our comprehensive insurance-backed DGCOS guarantees.
UPDATE AND REPLACE
If the time has come to replace your old French or sliding patio doors, you may wish to consider our bi-folding doors. The clean lines of our aluminium doors work well with any style of property, new or old, and the full-width opening is a big ‘wow’ in any home!
